In the first dragon killing quest(windspire hills or something) I have a small problem. I go there and the paladins attack me as normal, but when i go to talk to galen all he says is "I thank you for your efforts" Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

I've never had that happen. Garren Windspear should have approached you when the last "monster" died. He initiates the conversation; not you. From there, he should have invited you to his home. It sounds to me like you went straight from that battle to Firkraag's lair and defeated him. That's the only thing I can think of.

I hope that's not what you did as you may have problems now because you will be confronted with members of the Order of the Radiant Heart for killing their members (the ones that were disguised as monsters). If that is what you did, and you haven't progressed much beyond that battle, I would suggest reloading prior to Windspear Hills and doing that quest again. You don't want to be fighting members of the Order every time you enter Athkatla.

Depends on what alignment you are...

Must just be a big-assed bug you've found. (See Spelladonna's post)

only hacks installed is the exp remover and the grandmastery fix. It was just a corrupted file I think because I reinstalled it and the problem went away.

That aside, I still wouldn't want to be attacked by knights everytime I set foot into town. :p
