People responsible for Dragonlance Adventures have been working with BioWare on the Digital Distrubution programme. Here's an excerpt from Steel_Wind's announcement on DLA boards:

    The Official Announcement

    Ok.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock lately, you’re aware of the BioWare Premium Module downloads program via Digital Distribution (“DD”).

And, unless you have been ignoring the DLA forums for about the past year, you’ve all been pretty sure by now that we are involved in it in some way.

To confirm: yes we are involved neck deep in the DD program and we have been for a very long time now.

I was approached by BioWare in October of 2003 to see if DLA was interested in participating in the DD program. They laid it out for us, explained their basic plans and we began discussions that lasted a long time. BioWare dropped all kinds of hints about it too. None of this should come as a surprise to those who paid attention.

By the time we ended our discussion, it was a matter of I dotting and T crossing and we were off in the meanwhile.
