Dragonlance beginner

    AT LAST, Dragonlance books translated to Greek :roll: :rolling: :) :D :grin: :shake: :spin:
    Because I don't know anything about Dragonlance (only that it's a campaign setting for D&D)can you tell if these books are good for me? The books translated are: Dragons in winter nights(I'm just translating the Greek title which may differ, for example: The thousand orcs(original title)-The orc invasion(Greek title)) and other two of the same serie.

    The original Dragonlance trilogy were Autumn Twilight, Winter Night, and the Spring Dawning (in that order) so it would appear that you are looking at the correct books to start.

    In my opinion these three books as well as the second set of three books (the twins trilogy)were very good but the other Dragonlance books tended to be very bad.

    A recommendation: There are way, way, waaaaay to many DLance books to organize them and keep them in order. Stick with the Weis and Hickman ones.

    I completed Chronicles and Legends this year. Kinda in the same vein as Time Bandits(movie), but fantasy. (At least it felt like that while reading them) They were good, but not great.

    I've heard a lot of people give differing opinions on the Dragonlance saga, but in my opinion, it is very good. Dragons of Autumn Twilight is one of my favorite books. It's something about the depth of the characters that Weis and Hickman produce - very fascinating. The characters are very "human" heroes - possessing various abilities and whatnot, but also having a great deal of issues.

    Alexander, I highly recommend them, especially the Chronicles and Legends.

    the sad thing....im a hypocrite....

    theres a good many books in that link i wouldnt mind reading....

    but yea...like i said...there's a helluva lot of books in the dragonlance world....the only one's i would stress over are the ones i posted...
