[IMG] Hey there, need a bit of help. I can't seem to be able to make the 4 wyvern poison (potions?) required to finish Dragon's Eye. I have 4 stingers, and i placed them at the right table, But the lever in the main chamber is not clickable - the top most one damages any char attempting to use it, and the lower one just isnt clickable at all. I can't threaten D'hey again aswell.

    Any clues?

Don't you just have to wait for him to wander back and forth long enough and eventually he pushes the lever for you?

Thought so, And i rested in there for a few hours and then a few days. Nothing really changed. Maybe i need to actually be active there or anything. Any suggestions would be welcome, as i want to finish the game already and its stopping me in my tracks :p

I remember having trouble with that one. Do you have to go back to the guy at the slave pens? Don't remember his name but I remember a lot of running back and forth. That is when I discovered how handy ctrl J is.

Here is the quick walkthrough, I finished that cursed place two days ago so you are lucky.

You MUST first save Nheero, a prisoner, before venturing further. Without saving him, you will be stuCked. You will never be able to brew posions and potions, the lever will never be fixed, etc.

He is in the prison, the dorr is locked, there is a switch in torture room near the torture rack, it does not high light when you press TAB so it is HARD to find it. Switch it, and door will open, after some battle, speak to Nheero and agree to help his research. Find his friend's corpse in the level down, at the end of the hall far to right. (a rolling boulder, beware! It hurts and kills low HP PCs.) Talk to Nheero again after finding his friend's corpse. then you will have to find his friend's blade for his spirit to rest. The blade is located two levels down, on the floor in one of the rooms (within those blade traps surrounded room) Bring the blade to the 'corpse' and his spirit will thank you and will show you where he threw the modified Mandrake root. Go there, pick it up (beware there is a tough Ancient Wyvern, better take some andidotes if your Fort save is low)

After you have the Modified Rooti go talk to Nheero again and he will tell you to make the Modified Histaachi potion. From this point on, the yuanti alchemist will be there and just by some luck he has managed to fix the cursed lever.

Now you must make at least two sets of Modified histaachi brews, and lots of wyvern poisons. Switch the Mandrake root with your modified one on the lab in alchemist lab, and either threaten and force the alchemist (he does not cause much trouble) OR have a mage with high Alchemy skill do the job.

You will give one of the Modified potion to Nheero, and the second one is needed to cross a room with Sseth's eye. Normal characters can not enter the room, have your fighter drink the potion (CAREFUL! If it is the normal histaachi potion he will turn in to a hostile Histaachi permanently!) and when he is a Histaachi but still has his senses, enter room, kill two Histaachis, switch the hidden lever, the draw bridge will be ready for you to venture, go, kill some bad guys, and THEN you should poison all the water tanks in the third level, then another door will open and yada yada you are out of the cursed Eye of the Dragon, do not forget to loot the Yuanti treasury first, and bring the mysterious amulet back to Kuldahar Cemetery for some fun!

Hope this helps, ask further if you are still stucked, that place is full of nasty bugs, I do hope you had a seperate save slot before entering the Eye. :p

If you have already done these jobs, and you still can not threaten the alchemist, I guess it is, unfourtunately, a bug. Start from an earlier save and do the jobs in my order.

Thanks for the help, But i did that before :)

I DID make the histachii brew for nheero, But didnt not make wyvern potions. Now i couldn't perform the alchemy process again.

Anyway, with a lack of a solution, I just enabled the cheat console and made 4 wyvern poison potions. I'm already at the severed hand now, Gonna finish it today probably.

Meh, I said that place was full of bugs, BUT fourtunately I managed to finish the place four or more times without any bugs. I guess I am lucky.

A friendly advice: After you beat the game, replay with your party at HoF difficulty, it is totally worth it!

Basically, there is no difference betwen normal and HoF mode( on the hitory) but if you enjoy a game that makes you beat your head against the monitor, you gotta try the HoF.
The level of any little battle rises to epic, the weapons stock is amazing,I think it worth the challenge.
Some people donĀ“t, but I liked a lot(in fact,I always wanted a HoF mode in BG series)
