    I got one more Q when i go to make the posion in the lab at dragons eye, it says i can't comprehend right now but my mage has a high achmey skill. whats the deal? thanks

    Your mage needs to have at least a 15 on the alchemy skill...POSSIBLE SPOILER...otherwise you have to wait for the lab guy to wander back in and force or trick him into creating potions you need. I think you need to at least rest for it to happen.

    Yeah.

    There's like, 3 places in the game where the alchemy comes in handy. And since it's part of the necessary game path on that very last one, I'd guess it's not all that high of a check.

    But those other two are fairly high.

    Remember that there's the sword you find in the third level that iirc boosts the alchemy skill to 20. Be sure to use it before you hand it over if you don't have an alchemist nearby.

    [​IMG] I thought the sword boosted arcane knowledge, not alchemy?

    Never mind the alchemy anyway, just force the guy to do it. :evil: He was quaking in his little slippers when my fighter told him to.
