DragonShard has previewed Dragonshard once again, this time focusing on the roleplaying aspect of the game, as opposed to the previous interview which concentrated on the real time strategy one. Here's a clip:

My mission began above ground, where the hero I had selected to portray (Red Fang, a powerful red draconian who can breathe fire) was running around collecting RTS units in order to stave off an assault on one of the Lizard Folk villages. The gameplay, in this case, was fairly standard RTS maneuvering -- stick-and-move, assess the enemy force, and then rush in with my forces, all my special abilities blazing. Unfortunately, when I reached the bridge that ran over the chasm separating me from the besieged village, a bunch of those damned mammals decided that they were going to take it out. There was nothing else for it. I was going to have to take my tiny party of lizard folk warriors, archers, and shamans down into the underground and find another route across the chasm.
