[IMG] I just completed the reading of the lord of the rings and I would like to begin to read the history of the drow Drizzt...

Whitch book is the beggining??? I heard about the dark elf trilogy, Icewind dale trilogy, and some other book... but is there an order???

If someone knows, it will be very appreciated to tell me what is the first book talking about Drizzt.

    thx.

I would start by reading the Icewind dale trilogy (the crystal shard, streams of silver, and the halflings gem) and then read the Dark Elf trilogy. The dark elf books describe Drizzts life before he came to the icewind dale, but I think you enjoy the dark elf books better if you have read the IWD books first.
After the IWD books there is the legacy of the drow (the legacy, starless nights, siege of darkness, and passage to dawn), they are not quite as good as the first six books, but still worth reading. After that there are still some books, but i havent managed to get my hand on them yet, so I can't really say anything about them.

I'm still cackling over how much ass Servant of the Shard kicked. If for no other reason than to fully understand SotS, you should read the entire series :D

Homeland was better than Servant of the Shard. Trust me, red that first.
