Dual class humans the other way around

    [​IMG] Most people change a fighter to another class for obvious reasons (THAC0, hitpoints, bonus strength in character creation, etc).

    Why would anyone dual TO a fighter? What are the advantages?

    The only reason I can think of is the Kit. But I haven't tried this yet so I don't know how strong the character can be.

    (It doesn't matter which game you have in mind, which is why I posted this in Playground.)

    Woo, that would be sweet. :evil: Showdown between Kensai/Thief and Assassin/Fighter.

    x5 backstab and Kai versus x7 backstab multiplier.

    Both with grand mastery of course.

    Wonder who will deal more damage? :eek:

    I vote for kensai.

    Heh, i can t remember a good reason to dual to fighter.

    Unless you do something horrible with your magic becouse you cant control it that good and after that you're afraid of it and hate it.

    Here's some ideas:

    Shapeshifter/Fighter - either form, your physical attacks are strong. Start as fighter, then when you get weak, change to werewolf for the regeneration!

    Cleric Kit/Fighter sucks - Most of the kit spells are easily replaced by regular cleric spells anyways.

    Specialist Mage/Cleric - Kinda off topic since fighter is not involved, but anyways... Pick the specialist who cannot cast Divination (can't remember which). Then you gain the extra spells granted to specialists at no cost since your cleric ability lets you cast True Sight or Dispel Magic. You only lose out on hit points and THAC0.
