[IMG] I chose to play a kensai half-elf.. it has been fun and not too tough (I am still early in the game--at the keep clearing out the trolls.. but late enough that I don't want to restart..

    questions:

    1. am I 'screwed' because I now cannot dual class?
    2. does the exp point cap include exp accumulated in both classes for dual-classed? or is it just the top exp earned in either class? i.e. if you dual classed, can you run the second class clear to the cap?

if the answer to the 2nd question is 'no', then I am not bothered.. i.e. I will just be a very powerful kensai. if the answer is 'yes' then I am angry (sort of) because I will not become as powerful as someone who dual-classed.....

    1) Yes, only Humans can dual class.
    2) Yes (No?), the cap applies to the total experience gained in all the character's classes.

If you still decide you want to dual class, you could download Shadowkeeper to edit you character into a human and so avoid restarting. You can download the editor from this very site at:

Scroll down, its at the bottom of the page.

Your choice of chars tells about your prudence ;) - the kensai thief is awesome, a great char class. I agree to Slappy, and also suggest "converting" him to human using shadowkeeper. Btw - a kensai thief can wear shadow armor, not that it´s that useful but it looks quite cool on an elve - you don´t have to change your paperdoll too ;)

But be aware: Dualclassing will irreversibly turn you into a powergamer, huaghuaghuag :D
