I do not know, is there a rule if you miss whit the firs attack, you cannot attack again in same round. So if you have two weapon, and the eg the second attack of your first weapon missed, you cannot attack with your left handed weapon. Is that true?

If this is true, then I think the sword +shield style is the best at the early in the game, if you soloing. (because you have not too good to hit)

If you have low to hit, you can attack, because you hit the foes, and you can attack with your left hand...

[IMG] Of course not, you keep attacking whether you hit or miss.

Perhaps you are thinking about Critical Misses? Even so I don't think a Critical Miss means anything. Perhaps the weapon might break if you are using a non-magical weapon?

Sword and shield style isn't worth spending proficiency points on but it is my favored way to equip my protagonist. Having a very low armor class is important in so many encounters....maybe in the expansion you won't care about AC so much, but in SoA, your AC being down around -12 or so, you just aren't going to get hit much at all!
