Is it possible to make a mod that would allow you to dualwield throwing hammers? Or is this hardcoded?

I mean, they are onehanded weapons so why wouldn´t you be able? It would be really cool.

Maybe the weapon is only one-handed but you'd need one hand to hold your supply of hammers while you throw with your other hand. Or maybe you could just grab two hammers off the ground, throw them, grab a couple more, throw them, etc. But that would mean your character couldn't move very well with a large pile of hammers on the ground.

Well, what about the weapons that return to your hands?

Crom Faeyr and Azuredge/Dwarven Thrower/etc...Korgan getting the 25 strength bonus for a ranged attack....I like it.

Don't know if it could be done but it sounds like it'd be very powerful.

That was what I had in mind.
The returning hammers, wouldn´t need the off-hand to "reload" then.

And yes, you would be able to make one mean killing machine then, I tell ya :D

They don't need the off-hand to reload, they can use a shield and throwing weapon, throwing weapons are usually attached to a belt for easy pulling. When it comes down to it, in p&p you're able to dual wield them so long as you have the appropriate feats, (otherwise you dont' want to, -10 -10 OUCH). It would be nice to see a mod change that in Bg2. Hopefully someone can make it!!

    Still my question is unanswered.

    Is it possible to change?

I think not, otherwise someone must´ve thought about this earlier and made it reality.
