hey. I´d just like to know if anybody could make a list over who can dual to different classes.
Like, my Kensai for example can right now only dual to a thief and a mage.
    thx.

You can dual to mage, thief, fighter, cleric and druid.

The requirement of the dualing is that you must have at least 17 stat points for the class you want to dual and 15 for your present class's primary stat; 15 strength and 17 intelligence, if you want to dual a fighter to a mage.

Tin Man is right, you can dual to a mage, thief, cleric or druid (a fighter (kensai) can't dual to a fighter :D )

    Again for dualclassing in general:

    (a) You can only have a kit of a class as your *first* class when you dualclass a character
    (b) You can only dual to a *valid* MC combination
(c ) You must have (iirc) 17 in your prime stats for both classes
    (d) You need to be human

    Valid MC options:

    -fighter-thief
    -fighter-mage
    -mage-thief
    -fighter-cleric
    -cleric-thief
    -mage-cleric
    -cleric-ranger (!!!)
    -fighter-druid

The combinations are from the BG-2 manual and I hope I didn't miss one

btw - Anyone knows something about a fighter-mage-druid (my manual wasn't clear here, possibly a mc option for halfelves) ? Has anyone ever tried it? ? Is it possible at all?

Ragusa, aren´t you talking about multi classing? That is what´s in the book.
I´m talking about dualclassing - wich humans only can.

Zaragoth, read the answer some better, Ragusa tells you you can Dual Class your character to a valid Multi-class combination.

For example when you got a Kensai, a kansai is a fighter. So you can dual class him to any class that's also valid for Multi-Class, so that would give these options:

    Kensai/Mage
    Kensai/Thief
    Kensai/Druid
    Kensai/Cleric
