    how did you all

For me, it was 1985, I was in the 4th grade, and we had recess indoors due to a heavy rain. My best friend suggested we play "Dungeons & Dragons" -- I had heard it mentioned before, but I didn't really know what it was about.

He whipped out the red box Basic Set, and 45 minutes later I was hooked. Our gaming group stayed together mostly through high school.

At a college reunion in 2003, I ran into an old friend who worked (works) at Turbine. We talked some about the game industry, and specifically about DDO (which was in early development at that point), and that was it -- from that point on, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Eighteen months later, here I am

    Half Elves

Thanks for the link Raistlin -- I must have missed that article.

Which reminds me, if anyone's interested in learning more about Eberron, Keith's Dragonshards articles are really great. You can find the archive here:

Will DDO support SLI graphics system ?

    Hi Jubilex,

We haven't tested with SLI yet, but from what I understand it's supported at the hardware level, not the application level, so it should work fine with our games:

We'll probably know more about this (and be able to give a definitive answer as to whether it works or not) as we get closer to release.
