Giant Magazine has posted a not so gigantic (p)review of Dungeons & Dragons Online which consists of three paragraphs of praise, sparkling with lots of enthusiasm and catchy words but not so much detail or information, giving the game a rating of A+, which Turbine didn't forget to boast of at the official site. Here's one third of it:

Finally, the role-playing game that started it all gets its digital due with Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach, a sprawling online mecca for elves and barbarians of all ages. Back when video games consisted of a dot bouncing back and forth between two lines, D&D was the thing that parents were convinced would turn us all into Satan worshippers (All hail the 20-side Die of Evil!). In this incarnation, however, D&D looks a lot less scary than the current crop of violent vids. Still, purists need not worry: Turbine, the game’s developer, stays true to the spirit of the paper ’n’ dice original while also satisfying modern fans who find the idea of playing D&D around a card table in their parents’ basement a little too old school.
