    Gamecloud shares some Dungeons & Dragons Online impressions based on what is available at the moment. Here's a snip:

    The 1970's saw the launch of the modern role playing game genre with the fantasy pen-and-paper game Dungeons and Dragons. Filling out a character sheet, rolling a 20 sided die and following your Dungeon Master's hints and instructions started out as a cult hit and became a huge pop culture icon with D&D spawning and influencing other pen and paper games, toys, TV shows, movies and of course video and PC games. Now the D&D franchise is about to move into another area with Dungeons and Dragons: Stormreach, the upcoming MMORPG developed by Turbine and published by Atari. The game is now deep into beta testing and Gamecloud went and checked out the first few hours of the game for ourselves.
