    If you want some easy exp and a limitless supply of it go to Jaroo's home in Hommlet. Go to the back of his home where his chest is. Have your rogue disable device. The DC is 29 for the chest so unless your a very high lvl you shouldn't be able to disable which is the whole point. Every time you are not able to disable it and your rogue hopefully dodges the fire from the trap your whole party gains exp. Repeat it over and over for fast, easy exp. BTW do not take the pearls in the chest or even open unless you want to fight Jaroo and two brown bears.

    Another nice XP boost early in the game is to pull a Sledge Hammer and take out the two traitor-traders in Hommlet -- they're eminently crushable when your party is around level three. Hey, they're Chaotic Evil, they probably deserve to die for SOMETHING!

    hint for traitor-traders:

    there is a fighter you can hire. if you start a fight with traders he will be against you. but simply hire him (about 150 gp) and talk to him and say no need for him. he will be disappeared and you will fight with 2 men instead of 3.

    if you hire the fighter and start a fight, the fighter will be against you.
