I've installed easytutu without any problems 2 years ago and now since I'm having holidays, I've decided to try Easytutu again, this time on another computer.

Last time it installed perfectly without any problems, but now I've had "BG1 resource mismatch" appearing.

I've googled about it and the problem seems to be that it appears when someone doesn't have totsc or is using a non-english version.

However, I do have both the totsc and the english version. I'm using baldur's gate the original saga which has 3 discs. The problem is that during the easytutu installation, it appears that it cannot detect my totsc files even though I selected custom and ticked everything during my bg1 installation. I've checked by going into BG1 and I can play the mssion pack, so it seems that I did install totsc.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Other than the standard "uninstall and reinstall", I don't have much to offer. Never managed to get TotSC working on my computer (probably 'cause it was the American version), so just never bothered playing it.

Can you get Tutu to install if you haven't installed TotSC? Have you tried installing Tutu using something other than EasyTutu?

    Thanks for the reply!

Apparently not. I've tried to not install totsc but it causes the problem stated above. Good point, maybe I'll just try tutu itself if there are really no solutions.

Okay, I've discovered that the only missing file is moviecd6.bif, which makes my installation incomplete. Although I've ticked the box, every time I install, when it reaches that file, it stops responding for a while, then it straightaway asks for disc 1. I suppose that it has skipped that file.

Is it possible for me to download moviecd6.bif (I can't seem to just copy it from disc3) and just paste it into my bg1 installation to sovle that?

If you've got a full install configured, sure. Did you try cleaning your CD? Could be just a speck on it when it comes to that file that makes it skip it. Or try to copy it via another CD drive.

I've tried them but they still don't work. This time, I've had an 'error reading from source or file'. I think that particular file in the disc is corrupted or something.
