Edwin Leveling?

    OK how come when I level Edwin from level 9 to 10 he has LESS slots in his spellbook?

    AT LVL 9 he has:
    8 level 1 spell slots
    7 lvl 2's
    7 lvl 3's
    6 lvl 4's
    5 lvl 5's

    After Levelin to 10 he has:
    7 lvl 1's
    7 lvl 2's
    6 lvl 3's
    5 lvl 4's
    5 lvl 5's

    So by leveling him I lose a level 1,3,4 spell slot and gain NO new spell slots???

    I have noticed that as well. He eventually gains spells as normal. Maybe it is his amulet...?

    Is it a bug or that is what was supposed to be? I have never heard about it though.

    CLEVER SOLUTION: Do not level him up, to save those spell slots! :shake:

    I found out it is a bug where he has too many slots when your first get him so it is correct after the level.

    There is a similar bug with a certain TOB NPC, in this case a Saving Through gets lowered by -1 with the first level up. It's beyond me how these type of bugs happen.

    Also NPC's starting levels can be strange sometimes. Normally they're determined by the PC's level, this I know. But on one game where I was level 8, Anomen started with 11 cleric levels. He was merrily casting 6th level spells, it was ridicilous. Normally he's level 8 at that time.
