[IMG] It says in the manual that these three have exceptional skills that are well worth keeping. Edwin is a miserable git and I never used him in BG1 and I wouldn't again . . . except if he can be particularly useful !! I am a lawful neutral and think I can make a calculated decision like that if it has long term benefits.

I have already decided to keep Mazy as a replacement for Korgann - I like Korgann very much but it's too much trouble to keep my reputation lowwer in order to keep him.

Finally - having passed on Jan the first time I played, this time around I really like him! He can detect and disarm traps well enough, open locks AND cast a ton of spells ! What more could you want form a thief ?? So I am not sure what I'll do with Haer'Dalis.

What do you reckon to these to these guys ???

Da tiefling and Mazzy are in my opinion worthless but Edwin kicks ass!

    The exceptional skills are:

    Edwin - bonus spells
Mazzy - her halfling paladin abilities, strength, healing and remove fear.
    Hear'dalis - Maybe his swords?

When I bought the game, I wanted to play as a blade, but then I changed my mind and became a barbarian (Wich is named blade :D). When I was looking in my manual, I saw Ha'er Dalis or what's his name again, and I thought WOW, a blade, cool!
But then I saw his stats, I believe it was on this site, and I thought, that's the lousiest character I have EVER met!!!!
    He's nothing...
Edwin is very cool though evil aligned and I'm playing goodie-goodie.
I haven't tried Mazzy and I'm not gonna, because my party is well balanced.

[IMG] Haer'Dalis is aunique tank who has area spells (harp) + magic with armor. I sadly have to have one character with meleeing capabilities, and with his defensive capabilities he can kepp agressors off long enough for the barrage of spells to meet home.
