    Past couple of weeks I've had a few people commenting on unusual models and disabled models, some facebook friends keep linking me to disabled groups and through them and on them I have seen several offers and searches for a disabled model, including one I mentioned in MUG about a glamour site, which was promptly rejected :rolleyes:

    Even my gmail ads have popped up with alternative modelling agencies :rolleyes:

    I have a few friends that are getting into modelling as well, one is stunning, her looks mean a lot to her and she can get anything she desires with just a smile and a few words. A couple are high school friends who have a prima donna attitude and one is a friend of a friend who you wouldn't even look at twice. Yet she's already had a couple of contracts for companies wanting an 'everyday face' (Which still required copious amounts of editing :p one picture you couldn't even recognise as her it had been manipulated so much)

    Also since going out with Kev I'm not *half* as camera shy as before :D a company called Ugly in London specialise in alternative models - they look for people with character and something different. Which for better or worse is pretty much what anyone will say about me. They recently announced they've started their drive for auditioning their 2010 set, while another site devoted specifically to disabled models for corporate advertisements is trying to get hold of more people.

    Just wondering if it's even worth looking into, I have university once a week, looking for work in my area has proven fruitless, at the moment I have no electricity in my flat either so maybe just something to let me pay for that would be worth looking into.

    Can't see a reason why you shouldn't. Anything to make money that is not too morally repugnant for you should be in the cards when you have no electricity in the winter. Best of luck.
