    Sometimes it feels like I've been reading Tarot for decades. Yet I am still astounded by the people that charge £40 for a half an hour of Tarot Reading.

    I'm sorry, but that's utter balls.

    It takes me half an hour to shuffle the deck ritually!

    In half an hour I will read the cards, confer with any of my notes if necessary and type up a full report to give the person whom I read for including saving the notations for future reference so I can easily adjust any possibly interpretations depending on the information that is divulged to me or to any further queries to the same question.

    I am thorough, I am honest, yet I find the attitude of most cartomancers simply bewildering. Then again I am in the position where divining is not my sole source of income, I suppose if I had to make my living off this I would rather quickly change my tune!

    The fact is though, very few cartomancers are certified by any particular body. I have at least attempted courses and registration as a form of validation for my services, I am comfortable enough with my practice that the inconvenience of study and membership to a regulatory body is a small price to pay if it means that those who require my aid have assurance I am not 'just another fraud'

    There are of course, many who would disagree and view the Tarot as superstition and nonsense, along with my beliefs and interest in the occult.

    I take my art and skills seriously, as would any priest who would quote scripture or pray for their congregation I put my time and devotion into my practice to provide a service that is relevant and of use. Through use of the Tarot I assist people in looking at broader concerns, considerations they may not have initially addressed or brought attention to potential confusion or brought a taste of realistic possibility within an situation that has left a person with their head in the clouds.
