My first question is are places like the beholder caves, the kuo-toa dungeon and the elder brain area still available after you complete all the quests in Ust Natha? Obviously, you do have to kill at least one of them to complete the quests, but after finishing the quests and escaping the city, can you still go back and do them before leaving the Underdark?

Second question: Does Soulafein (assuming you have the mod) join your party with about the same amount of XP as your current party members (taking into account that he's multi-classed so if he has half as many XPs as your single-classed characters, he's where he should be)? If he comes in behind like Imoen, it makes sense for me to get him as soon as possible, and therefore do the other dungeons after getting him in the party. If he comes in with about the same amount of XPs as everyone else, then the few extra XPs for having him with you in the extra two dungeons are inconsequential.

You can do the quests before or after Ust Natha. You can even leave the Underdark and then come back later and do them if you want.

You can summon Solaufein anytime using CLUA, and then there are 5 choices, depending on how much XP you want him to have. I imagine that his level are set to match yours somewhat.
