All right, let's suppose that one fateful day (heaven forbid), that Taluntain, BTA, and Darien Noella are all, at the same time unable to run SP. (they got sent to the hospital, all simutaneously went to a coma, got fired by the cigarette-smoking man at the center of the SP conspiracy . . . )

So, whoever gets to run SP is up for grabs, and we do it the good ol' democratic way. Who'd you nominate for president/ruler/dictator/whatever else for SP?

Please, for the sake of humility, do not nominate yourself.

 

Of all weird threads this beats all. I did not have a sexual relationship with that woman.. Deny. Deny. Deny.... ohh. hmmm. Just starting the mudslide.. I am already making the banners. So should it be BigB the mushroom?

 

hmmm this a tough one. it's a toss up between The Fat Egg and Gash, two folks that have been here since the begining of time.

The Fat Egg simply because i could abuse this, ! and that, ? to my hearts content.

Gash because he registered on the exact same day as i did, as well as the fact that Gash is such a cool nick. Gash is a word that i use to descibe something that i can't really get into on the boards.

I would not nominate Nobleman just because he did me but definately Nobleman must be nominated. Since all three positions would need to be filled, I also would nominate Slappy and Mat.

Each of them could have personal assistants too>>> Tjek, Extremist, and Ragusa

Who in turn would have a helper>>> Tiamat, Headbanger, and KJ

And of course we need representatives for the people...Sir Bel, Kitiara, Lokken and Voltric

Ok now that's enough nominations, there's only so many spots in the heirarchal (sp?)structure .

Namuras and I would be the official Mayhem administrators Oh wait, we already are.

Actually I did some thinking about my above nominations and I'm afraid something like that could lead to disaster , here's what I mean...

In Mat's chain of command...

Mat: "Hey guys what do you think about changing the name of this place to 'Cleric's Temple'? Sorcerer's Place just doesn't do it for me anymore."

Ragusa: "It's cool with me as long as I get to make all new members write an essay on why halfling thieves rule!"

Tiamat *thinks to herself* Incompetant Males! This job is only fit for me. *Pours poison into Mat and Ragusa's drinks*

In Slappy's chain of command:

KJ: "So Tjek check out my new solo half-orc jester with min stats."

Tjek: "Yes, what's your point? My solo bad-mouthing female assassin could school him anyday."

Slappy: "I get stuck with these two??? Where's my gun?"


In Nobleman's chain of command:

Extremist: "Right we're taking away that :x util from public download and everyone will have their post count set to zero if they mention it."

Headbanger: "But, but...what about my avatar?"

Nobleman: "Stow it Marnix, Me and Extremist run this place, it's only a matter of time before we throw a coup and make this a dictatorship."

The Representatives, Kitiara, Lokken, Voltric and Sir Bel: "We'll just sit back and let everyone kill each other and then rise to power."

 

I say we rotate leadership on a bi-weekly basis!

Well...
Nobleman (because he is danish)

Herf...naah, hes an anarchist so it would go against his principles.
Extremist (because his entire avatar has come to mean the same as to me.)
And of course Shadow Goddess would be the personal assistant no matter who became the leader.

My advice is to make a council of the wise, that is devided in the 3 Sorcerer's and the 5 Istari. Of course Extremist should be the Istari that turned out to be evil in the end Ragusa should also be in de council with Kit. Then we have the white Istari, that goes for justice for all, of course that should be Mathetias. The neutral one that forgot his real duty and know only talks with beasts on a chatroom will be Lokken.

Time? You have the time. 24 hours a day. You just have to spend it differently. BigB that was a very funny "story".

 

Everybody has 24 hours a day.. some people use it useful, some don't.

 

Thank you for suggestioning me, but I can't and won't accept such thing.

If I could put my claws on this site - I would kick out d&d from the title and turn it to cRPG site whatever rules those use.
But then this place wouldn't be the same.

So be wise, and in future count me out. Thanks.


P.S. The :-x util is not thorn in my side anymore. Believe it or not, the epidemic that was present in SoA forum slowly vanished. Instead of almost every post plagued with that util, now you can see that it is mentioned pretty rare.

I'm honored Big B that you put me on your list! And I wouldn't change the name of the whole web site, but I would add a new Section called "The Cleric's Cuddling Corner"

I think I'd nominate Slappy for the position. We can never have enough links....

 

I want to be a moderator ... i'd be a fair one at the least. I don't like corruption and would love to have a well ordered "good" site under or partly under my command considering that there would be others ...

I believe I'd nominate Lokken, for having the technical knowledge coupled with the desire to run this place. Of course, he'd have to be willing to do a lot less sleeping; perhaps that would be too great a sacrifice for him.
