As weird as it sounds, David Barben goes ahead and declares an new Elite.

    Elite: Dangerous

In case some never heard of it ( which is a slim slimmer thing to happen )

    Elite: Frontier
Was the god among the space sim's ot its time. Procedural content and infinite space to call your own. Trade, Hunt, Pirate and what-not.

The initial Kickstarter page, as you can see, is barren save for some text. No screeny, no Vid introducing the project...nada.

And yet people are willing to let the cash flow for nostalgia alone.

I hope the new content will come tomorrow

Kickstarter is a nostalgia gold mine. There are very few projects based on good old games that people still remember fondly that aren't buried in cash the moment they appear on KS. So, really, these days it's odd if any of the old game developers are NOT on KS... not if they are. It's funny how we're in the middle of the worst recession in decades, but there's no shortage of money paid in advance for games which will take years to develop. I guess gaming is quite recession-proof. :D

Updated the with the first pitch Video, and there are some really outstanding concepts and render...but it's bloody short. barely 4 mins.
    Still none the wiser!

Still lacking any significant Reward Triers and pledge goals...

Here is a first DevDiary Vid with some ingame action.
Something they should have posted way earlier.

    Have a look.
