Elven Chain + Dancing Sword

Aerie certainly fits well in Elven Chain Mail, none of her spells are removed either. Now with some good armor, the Ring of Wizardry, another ring that boosts cleric spells and an amulet that grants an extra 2nd level spell, she's turning out to be a force!

On another note, did anyone use Ras the Dancing Sword? You can have it dance and be a seperate item to control during battle. As soon as it starts dancing, move it around to attack while you re-equip your character with another weapon. Too hyped!

The War Hammer of Throwing +3, +8 vs large creatures that returns to your hand. Dwarves only and too hyped for Korgan! Just found it.

Wanted to know if anyone else had found these two weapons useful?

Yeah, I always forget the weapons' special abilities as well. I still haven't used any of my swords' or rings abilities, though I do like to use the spider figurine and the iron horn. Both of those are great when outnumbered. Really nice. I also haven't used potions much. I seem to just be developing a potion stash, saving up for a rainy day, or whatever other reason I might have. Only ones I ever use are frost giant strength and healing.

 

Can Aerie use elven chain ??

 

Anyone can wear elven chain I think.

 

I wouldn't have said Aerie was wearing Elven Chain if she couldn't wear Elven Chain

The only class that cannot wear Elven Chain is a pure mage and for some "strage" reason, Valygar.

Where is the warhammer, thats what Phyco Bobs proficient in.

Where is the elven armour, that sounds interesting, at the mo, Aeire is wearing The Robe Of Good Archimagi.

 

Elven Chain Mail is on Lord Skarmaen Alibakkar in Trademeet.

The Hammer is on a Merchant in Trademeet.

How would go about extracting the armour from him?

 

Elven chain is also on Aran Linvail when you kill him (if you go down bodhi's path). Jan is currently wearing elven chain +1 in my party

 

Well I has Korgan use the Dwarven hammer during my last game (whew just finished today!) It was his 'primary' weapon and he had 4 points invested in it. I also had Azuredge, Stonefire and another Axe(the Cold damage one?) in his inventory. Without question, Korgan performed EXTREMELY well in my Evil party. That Dwarven Thrower is superior. A ranged weapon that can do massive damage. Switching between the above mentioned weapons as needed he always came through in a 'clutch' situation.

 

What level where you when you had 4 points in his War Hammer? He only starts with 1 in that area.

As for getting the armor from him Septic Yogurt, I killed him when he attacked me during the noble war that was going on.

It was that or return what they wanted to the Mayor and well, I didn't want to do that

Sorry, can't recall what level he was at. But it was near the end of the game, perhaps chapter 6?. I believe he starts off with 2 in that proficiency (you may be right with 1)and picks up 2-3 more pofieciency points in the length of the game (after all he is a FIGHTER, well a BESERKER!).

It was my first time actually 'keeping' and 'playing' Korgan. Before it was just adding him to the party to do the crypt quest & then hunt his former party down.

Yeah, he hasn't left my party since I first walked into the Copper Cornet and I just put a prof on dual weilding so he can get two axes going at the sametime. He's by far the best fighter in the game and is currently sitting at -9 AC for me, the highest in the party.
