Anyone know where I could get a free pop3 email or so, of course I want to avoid Hotmail, msn and Yahoo but I am having trouble finding anything. Does anyone know where I could get one? Only my email might be gone soon so I have to find something.

It does not matter if its .nl .be .whatever, anything will do, just something half-decent that does not spam!

I just checked and it is NOT free. It's not expensive either though, depending on the size of inbox you select.

Here's a whole load of free POP3 email services, not sure on the quality of them though.

Sarevok, hotmail has improved DRASTICALLY within the last month or so. My volume of spam has decreased from ~30 per day to ~5, and almost all of those are caught by the filter. It takes maybe 5 seconds to scan the Junk Mail folder (just to make sure something real hasn't been misdirected) and click "Empty." Unless you have other concerns about Hotmail, spam shouldn't be your excuse for not using it. :)

Doesn't the ISP that you use to connect to the internet provide e-mail? Even if you're on broadband, they still usually provide an account e-mail. Those are almost always POP3/SMTP.

There is www.email.com, never really looked into their service and such.

I've never had a problem with spam from any of the services that you list. You just have to be careful who you give e-mail addresses to.

My free e-mail account is 20 meg, 5 per message (or was it 7?), has a spam filter, vacation reply, signatures etc etc all reached from the browser. Yea, I don't even have an e-mail client. Well, the only thing is that it's in Polish, hehe.

Anyway, it's www.o2.pl. After all, you can use it with e-mail client programs too.
