Enabling IWD2 Cheats

    I went and put Cheats=1 an the icewind.ini file and went to the game and pressed Ctrl+Tab and I did not get a display console window. what am I doing wrong.
    ps. I finished the game one and I want to play with the cheats now.

    Hmm. Try "Debug Mode=1". Actually, I also think you can enable cheats in the Icewind Dale II Configuration menu (this I believe you can access through: Start Menu - All Programs - Black Isle - Icewind Dale II).

    yes, you can enble console mode via configuration program.

    [​IMG] I went in to Start Menu - All Programs - Black Isle - Icewind Dale II. Were do I put the Cheat=1. What I get in the configuration, in Black Isle is a new window with four buttons: Options, General, Wizard Spells, Monk Spells.

    two pics i used to use on other purpose, but i think i can do the job,

    This is where you should go to enable console
    configuration

    i believe the console option is under game tab instead of the General tab shown in this pic

    NO!!!
    In IWD the cheats were CheatersDoProsper:etc... But in IWD2 the command phrase is 'ctrlaltdelete:etc...'. Although the second part of the line, add gold(1000) or setcurrentxp(10000) is still the same. Always use ( ) around the numbers or area codes. " " are not used. :)
