    Well, I've been searching around the net for a free online English to Latin translator, but I have not been able to find one that actually works, or that is free. So I am coming here to see if anyone knows how to speak Latin.

    Anyway, I just want to know how to say:
    "It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees"
    in Latin. Also, if you know of a good online translator, please let me know! Thanks. :rolling:

    I don't think that there is any such thing as a "good online translator." Just play around with a language you know on one of those things, and you will understand what I mean.

    Online translators suck since it's impossible to have a script properly translate ACI or NCI syntax, not to mention accusativus duplex or nominativus duplex or context-based interpreting of ablativus absolutus.

    I suppose you want the sentence as a motto, so that's what I have for you:

    Melius [est] ad pedibus mori quam ad genibus vivere

    The 'est' in parentheses is better omitted although it's no mistake to leave it be.
