[IMG] Overall, I think it was pretty good! I've always liked Scott Bakula as an actor. The vulcan chick was pretty hot! I liked the ship, it was cool, but also clunky - like they still haven't worked out all the kinks yet.

It was weird having the Klingons in so early...I wonder when things go bad....

Re-rap back to me...I agree with Mat on Tucker, he does get a little annoying. Another thing I'm looking forward to is the fighting in this series. When you think about how the Romulans and Klingons were enemies of the Federation/Starfleet in all the previous series - there should be some really good stories that give a little insight to that.

[IMG] I thought it was well written but a little slow. Probably could have been an hour long.

I don't like Mr.. Tucker ... the southern drawl right hand man to the captain. His personality is going to have to grow on me.

Bel ... yeah the Vulcan is HOT. Check out maximmag.com for the non-Vulcan look. (I'm a sick sad man)

My favorite aspect of the show was the history. I did not know that the Vulcan's were holding our hand/holding us back. I also like the speech that developed into the trademark, "To seek out new lifeforms and new civilizations ... to boldly go where no man has gone before."

It is good to hear that there are so many Star Trek fans here at SP. I am a big trekkie myself, but I always hate that it takes so long for the new episodes (and things like that) to reach Europe. We haven't even got Voyagers last episode. I always read the Star Trek news on www.startek.com but have to wait a long time for actually seeing the episode. Can't wait for the new serie, though and for the new movie.

    Live long and prosper.

Ps I wonder how many Trekkies there are here. All Trekkies raise their hands.

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a trekkie. And I enjoyed the first episode of Enterprise. And to be the lone standout here, but I can't stand the Vulcan, she looks way too much like Angelina Jolie for me (can't stand those big lips). The rest of the crew seems pretty good, and I'm sure they'll all develop well. It was a good start, now the question is if they can keep it up.

[IMG] I thought it was good, and I almost fell off the couch laughing when I saw the over-under plasma shotgun.

However, I have NEVER seen nippage before on a Star Trek episode, and well...it kinda threw me. I think it's starting to go too mainstream, just like everything else. Not only that, but the partner cleansing shower scene bordered on the absurd. Come on! Reaching (even partway) into a Vulcan's panties is not the smartest thing to be doing. For those of you who haven't seen it, he was feeling up her butt.

Well, I could say it does not suck as much as I expected, yet in no way can I consider it by any means good.

LOL Sapiryl! I was waiting for the porno music to start up during that "shower scene"! Not that I mind a little nippage now and then, and she certainly has a nice body, but that was so way out there and completely gratuitous! :)

    Yep bad attemp Sir Bel

    Anyway keep posting on Enterprise.
Didnt know about the lag to Europe It would be faster If somone overhere recordedthem and shiped them to you by boat.

  18. Silverblade Guest

Yes please do. It is too frustrating not having seen it yet. If someone ships them to Tal and he distrubutes them all over Europe, then Tal can make some money (because he doesn't make it with this site) and then all the european Trekkies can see Enterprise too.

I think I figured out why it takes so long. It is propbable that euopean TV companies buy the shows by the season and they get deliverd all at once. It allso returns a lower risk as they know if an american show is a flop befor they buy it.

Ok, so I foolishly followed Sir Bel's link to Maxim to see the pics of the Vulcan chick.

    Two words:

    Oh

    My

Umm... I'm as straight as they come, but if I were a homo -- she'd change my mind.
