Epic Ring for a Girl

    Hello, my name is Daniel. I'm going to propose to the most wonderful girl in the world and I need a little help. She's a Baldur's gate freak, she's obsessed with it. So what I wanted to do was create a custom item and put it in her inventory. The item I want is a ring, something epic. something that a spell caster would drool over. In the description I want my proposal. The gist is that if she accepts my proposal she puts the ring on her character. I do have an actual ring but I figured this would be the best way to propose to her. The problem is I've downloaded a few savegame editors but none of them allow you to create your own items from scratch. I also know nothing about the scvirpt that the program uses for it's items.

    If anyone knows anything about custom item creation please either post in this thread or PM me.

    Cromwell's Smithy is great, but it can be a little finnicky, especially with descriptions. Test it before you 'give' it to her.

    Other than that, great idea!

    I made an item once, a suit of elven chainmail, that provided permanent improved alacrity, immunity to timestop and backstab, permanent negative plane protection, protection against stun, psionics, confusion and domination, and decreased casting speed by 5. Oh, and I think it was AC -2 or something. Put those modifiers on a ring (except the AC part) and it would be pretty godly.

    I think I did it with near infinity? That was a while ago.

    Good idea for a ring though, good luck. Be sure to write a good story about how this godly item fell into her hands.
