Ok those people that have everquest how much do you pay a year just to play the game on the net?
Howmuch are the regestration fees and how much is it monthly?
Is it worth getting?

 

It is defenately NOT worth the money anymore. It's around for more then 2 years now, and all the servers are clogged with items. Even the rare drops are in almost every high level char's possession. Every good monster site is camped by groups, good expereince is hard to get nowadays. You can better wait for a new Mass Multiplayer game, there are some in the making now.

If I remember correctly it was 49,95$ every half a year as a fee to stay connected. Then you have bought the game itself and you have to pay abnormal high internet connection fees, because you're addicted to that game if you don;t watch out

I bought the game, but the password was already in use on the servers (keygenerator anyone?) So I returned it and never got another copy. After reading the Everquest forums, I was glad I did return it. The Moderators in the game also seem to have the nasty habit to nerf character classes skills after 1,5 years. Not very nice if you just spend 2000 hours on building that char

 

Everquest definitely isn't worth the money. I played the game for the free trial month and instantly went back to BG. Too many people, too much server lag, and not enough RPing. I'd recommend waiting until Dark Age of Camelot comes out if you want to try an MMORPG

 

Anarchy Online and Neverwinter Nights are two games you might want to check out.
