[IMG] I'm playing this game with a neutral-good party, and it doesn't seem like there are any possibilities to play evil. Is this dependant on the party allignment, so that if I have a chaotic-evil party, then I will not be able to do good things?

Yeah! I kind of noticed that too. Right now I am playing with a lawful good party and you can zip right through most of the problems without any trouble. I also chose St. Cuthbert as my god. You only have to have the rogue and the cleric talk for you. If one can't do it the other one will.

It depends on the alignment. I'm playing this chaotic neutral party, so I get both good and evil options when solving quests, for example finding that necklace for this st. cuthbert's cleric. I did chose to not give it him after I found it. That quest was marked unsuccesful. :( I was surprised he did nothing, although that necklace seemed to be the most important thing for him in the world.

I started a new game with evil party just after my LG-party saved the world.

I just wanted to try the evil side, so first thing I did was go to Hommlet and kill the jeweler (get some nice money and longsword+1). Now I have enough money to buy some decent gear for my party.

Soon I started to wonder what would happen if I just go and try to take Rufus and Burne down. So my 2nd level party went to their tower. Charm person to Rufus and I was victorious (I had Elmo with me...). More magic stuff from them.

Sadly the good people of Hommlet now thinks I'm a Butcher of Hommlet and everybody attacks me on sight. And I thought I did't left any eye-witnesses... :(

But are there any difference in the quests? As far as I've noticed, all the quests in homlet is directed towards a good party, although a lawful-something might undertake some of them, depending on how you roleplay your party.

I could ofcourse try it out myself, but I'm too busy playing Victoria at the moment...
