Evil Party Members Leave Above 18 Reputation??

    I have Edwin in my party. When I hit 19 rep, he said something like "You waste opportunity after opportuity, I'm leaving" etc, but he never leaves. I was under the impression after reading some FAQs that after your rep gets over 18 evil members will leave your party. I have been over 18 rep for a week or more now (game time) but Edwin is still staying in my party. In fact now, my rep is 20, and he's still here. Is he ever going to really leave my party? I'm hoping I wont get to like the Underdark and then he decides to leave.....

    Whats up? Do evil people leave the group or not? He just keeps saying "I'm not staying any longer" but never leaves.

    I have the latest patch installed, and I'm not running any mods or anything like that. I dont have ToB either.

    It's the bug with so-called "weight" DLG values. Happens with Viconia too. I'm unsure if it will stay like that till the end (IIRC femine-side episode will drop the weight values so he'll leave). Drop the reputation to be certain that he'll stay (kill something! :evil: ), or simply install the HappyParty cheat.

    Take him to the cemetary in Athkatla and then he'll tell you something. All you have to do then is to follow the story. ;)

    If you do the "kill something" method, you'll want to single out one individual in a house.

    Don't do it out in the area map; too many guards and everyone else to turn negative on you.

    If you just find one house, and whack one guy, you lose something like 5 or 6 points. Depending on what your rep. is, but you can drop it from 19 down to 13.
