Extra HP

Discussion in 'BG2: Shadows of Amn (Classic)' started by Melkhior, Jun 27, 2001.

Is there any way to get extra hp? ( not with Shadowkeeper, but I was thinking like using the cheating like you can with extra xp and so on)
My dwarf is lv.11 and has 113 in hp when he
has 19 in constitution. Last time I made someone with 18 const. I got 130 at lv.10
    pls help.

[IMG] Since the number of hitpoints is *ROLLED*, for an ununderstandable reason this results in a *RANDOM* pattern ... can you imagine why your char has less hp this time? ;)

Hey Tal! Where in the cheats list does it say something about getting extra hp??
I´m not talking about healing or anything, I just want a higher Max-HP...

Your only alternative seems to be using shadow keeper. But if you set the game's difficulty level to the easiest when level up, you get the max HP!!! Do this!!!

"Normal" difficulty also gives you max HP. "Core Rules" or greater rolls a random amount.

[IMG] Melkhior, are you blind or just stupid? (No offense. Ok, some offense intended, if it will smarten you up).

Click on the link Tal left up above and look for the big red letters that read "Free XP"!!

I'd copy/paste if for you, but you might learn more if you find it yourself.

    I have two questions:
    1. Why is that such an urgent crisis?
    2. Why not just use the shadow keeper?

And anyway posting two topics isn't gonna make ppl reply you. It would have the opposite effect...

maybe because he got problems with that program (for when you use it much it can cause some bugs) but that'll certainly not happen when just raising HP however I realy don't understand why you should raise them and secondly why you call this a crisis?

I can´t use SK on my comp. I think that I need a new Direct X... But the last time I downloaded the newest version, Norton AntiVirus started...
Anyone know where to download Direct X????
    And Darien Noella:
No I´m not stupid or blind! I asked if you could use some cheat that raised HP as you can with XP! I did not ask where I could find cheats for raising XP!!

[IMG] Geez, picky picky... Well if you don't want to raise your Con for better HP rolls, or use the heal cheat, good luck to you with Direct X and SK. :p

  13. ayecapitan Guest

One thing for sure is that SK and DirecX are two things that never sat at one table, or at least never ate anything together. But, if you still think so, by the gods, download DX8 from MS homepage, and finaly find out that it has nothing to do with it.

And about your noble cheating, if you are smart, use hex editor to alter max HP and enjoy.

[tries to shake off that ugly feeling of giving a cheating advice]

Indeed, DirectX has nothing to do with SK. Just reinstall Shadowkeeper, it should work.

  15. Melkhior Guest

    hmm. ok.
Last time I asked why SK doesn´t work for me, everybody ( or at least a few ) told me to get a newer DirectX...
But ok.... I´ll try it again. If it doesn´t work, I´ll write down what the prob. is. thx for the help anyways.
except some of you. some of you are dicks.
