Actually, most of them are set in the area in or around the Sword Coast. Though most of the novels aren't set in big cities, and even if they are, they describe just one or a couple locations. But there are a few exceptions too, of course... Check the link RotKU gave you. On 2 pages there you have a full list of all FR novels in print and if you go to Amazon following the links there you can get a short story synopsis for each.

    Ahem...
Most of Drizzt books take place in Sword Coast(The Halfling's Gem,The Silent Blade,Servant of the Shard,Sea of Swords,Passage to Dawn) or in the North(Streams of Silver,Sojourn,The Crystal Shard,The Thousand Orcs,Spine of the World,Starless Night,Siege of Darkness)
Also check Elaine Cunningham's Songs and Swords serie if you want to learn about Waterdeep.
Realms of ------ series have stories nearly everywhere.
Ah and Mel Odom's Threat from the Sea has books that take place in Baldur's Gate.
