Familiars: Potions/weapons/hotkey Question

    I notice my Familiar has quick item and weapon slots. How do I get potions, weapons etc. in it's slots? Also is there a hotkey for the familiar so I don't have to click on him to select him?

    I'm not actually sure that a familiar can use quick items. I suspect the slots are there simply by default. Could be wrong though.

    The familiars quick item slots should be greyed out. Most summons also have these and are also greyed out.
