    Now, as some of you might know, I am eagerly a-waitin' for a pair of kittens. These adorable little furballs are going to be my first cats ever, and I plan on naming them Carolina and Tarantino, for Carolina of the Desperdo/OuaTiM fame and Quentin Tarantino.

    Now, what I want to know is what sort of familars does everyone else have? Cats, dogs, snakes, rats, tarantulas... what?

    Had a cat, but she died. I sorta have a dog and she's great. Now what I'd love to get is a mongoose. I've heard they make great familiars. Y' know, high ac for delivering my touch spells. :D

    A black cat. Really cool when it's dark and you suddenly spot two yellowish green eyes piercing through the night.

    but...

    Going back to my childhood (happy days) I had a jet black tom cat called solo, he was the best... but if I look to the future, I will buy a hampster, and I shall call him Boo!!! SQUEEK SQUEEK!!!

    At the moment i only have a Lovebird, but in the past i always had dogs, three pitbulls. I also had budgies all my life, and used to have an aquarium, but that took way too much of my free time keeping the tank clean.

    One of the most amusing pets i had was an albino rat, never seen a smarter animal than that.

    [​IMG] Kirias the 6.5" suckermouth catfish. She's lovely ^_^

    Also have my half eaten Siamese Fighter Fish which doesn't think Kirias is lovely...

    Got Gary the wooden Koi and Brian the screensaver pet.

    Spiders and Moths that wonder into my room which I raise to a suitable size and temperament then let them wonder the house. Then have to release outside because mother doesn't like them :(

    i don't really think it's counted as a pet, but some of our helpers have adopted a black cat. long as it hunts rats and stays away from me, it's the best familiar i could hope for ;) not really big on animals, I'd rather have an imp as a familiar hehe

    They were all nuts to think that I'd get a cat...but I go one anyway! Sure it promply died, but I got another one, that one died too. So I got third one...that one got hit, came home and then died. But the Fourth stayed alive...and that's the one I still have! :rolleyes:

    Sorry, I've been watching too much Monty Python and the Holy Grail. :D

    I do have one cat though...which you can see how evil she is by taking a look at my photo album in the SP Photo Album...too bad I can't keep her at my apartment. :cry: :rolling:
