Who was your most "favorite" enemy (from joe orc to mellsian) in the game whether you liked them cause they were easy or cause you felt good after the battle...

My choice would be the nice ol' lich in the caves of the dead in amekatheran. He's one of the only foes in the game that realizes that he's gonna die if you attack him and that you have the quick save on your side...

I've always been partial to Dragons. Under the old programming, they turned into something of a joke.

Under the Solaufein Module, I really enjoy going at it with Firkraag.

In the Ascension Module, it gets even better with Abazigal.

Melissan, for a non-dragon, is quite satisfying to beat with the Ascension module. If and when you do defeat the Ascension Melissan, it makes you feel like there really was a point to getting the Crom Faeyr, the Holy Avenger, the Ring of Gaxx, and so on.

I enjoyed going six on whatever number against demons. Especially when im a good party.

It definatly helps being on more even terms with them, mainly because it seems more of a challenge than destroying them with Carsomyr

AbazigalĀ“s son: beating him felt really good,
since he was the toughtest, single enemy in the
    unmodified game.

Anything that makes me reload more than about 5 times to beat it. That's nothing in the unmodified game. Most of the Improved Bosses are good, though.

Alright, this might be a strange one, but one of the most enjoyable fights is usually (and this is double for a solo game) the party with Mencar Pebblecrusher ifyou take them on right after exiting Irenicus' dungeon. Another is the party in the sewers if you get to them at early levels.

Improved Kangaxx and his guardians (Solaufein/tactics mod). I had to reload at least twenty times before I managed to kill him.

Hmmm...I always enjoy fighting other parties, and in particular these are great:

    - (Improved) Illyich and Henchmen (Irenicus' Dungeon)
    - Mencar Pebblecrusher & Co. (Seven Dales Inn)
    - The Party In The Sewers (Temple District Sewers)
    - (Improved) Svirfneblin Party (as drow - Underdark)

and in particular these fights have been significantly improved by the Random Encounter mod, which sets random party-encounters.

Like Gopher, I like fighting party-type enemies too. Guarded compound, Drizzt's party, and all the Drow fights come to mind.

[IMG] My husband would be amazed to hear me say this, but I have to agree that the group v. group battles are the most enjoyable. They've definitely been the most challenging for us! I don't think we've been able to get through a single one reload-free yet. It does get rather frustrating to watch a perfectly good strategy get shot to pieces by a random mis-step or blowing an initiative roll.

Any Undead. "Disease eats their skin; Death devours their limbs."

Of course, Liches at the first place.
A horde of zombies and greater skletons are not that bad, as well, but I prefer Liches.

"Death is swallowed up in victory.
Oh death, where is your victory?
Oh death, where is your sting?"

The improved Abaizigail figth is a blast! Two dragons at the same time! Plenty of small wyrms and some annoying salamanders, a real challenge but most of all chaotic fun! :D
