Out of the AD&D games, which one has your favorite music clip/song and in which area of the game?

I'd have to say the Shattered Hand in the Icewind has my favorite.

Kuldahar, if I must choose. Its music is excellent many places.

[IMG] Well I've never played IWD so :p

I liked either the music in Gromnir's castle in ToB or the music at the outside of Nalia's Keep in SoA.

[IMG] Nothing can beat the feeling you get when you walk into Kuldahar and that music starts playing. Best game music ever....

Hmmm all this talk of IWD makes me wanna play it all over again.

Yeah, the BG2 is quite a bit more dynamic than BG1 on the theme music. I'll have to go back and listen to Nalia's castle again or extract the area music...

I can't say which music I like the most.

All I ever heard from these games is great (except PoR, I don't have that game, so I don't know what will be in it).

Seems that Black Isle and Bioware really matched my music taste. In every single game. Too bad the music is the only thing in those games I can't spit on.

Finally, I'd suggest you to get ACM2WAV converter and listen to themes you probably missed in PT and BG2 (some depend on the paths you choose). Maybe you find another music that you like more than others.

Baldur's Gate. I often listen to Era while playing too... Good music for fantasy games.

Torment has the best music. This game has the most characteristic muic from all of these games. The music of IWD is also very good, and the rest isn't bad. I've restarted Torment only because of music.

[IMG] Yeah, all of those games have excellent music and Icewind Dale really stands out. But I can't remember that Kuldahar theme, but I can recall that I really liked the music when you enter Easthaven, right at the beginning of the game.
One more game that has great music: Daggerfall. Yes, it's not Ad&d, but it is a FRP game. And yes, the music is midi, but it is really excellent and it has some themes that are really immortal. You should also hear the heavy metal versions, those are brilliant...:)

I really hated the music on the start menu in SoA but in ToB i love it sometimes i catch myself just sitting and listening to it.
And Headbanger; isnt Era those monks? If it is it sounds great.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Might and Magic 7, Icewind Dale (except from the main theme), Heart of Winter and Diablo 1.

That was many games, but the music is excellent in all of them.

[IMG] BG2: De'Arnise Hold, before being cleared out (AR1300)!

There are some very good songs in BG1, but it has been such a long time since I played it... I can't remember one of them *snob*
