What was your favorite party ever? Include your character and how you played them.

For me it was Vhailor (cavilier), Keldorn, Sir Anomen, Jaheria, Serileth, Imeon

My favorite had to be my first ever full playthrough that I did with an Inquisitor. I used the canon party in BG1 (tutu, long before EE), then moved on to BG2 with Korgan, Mazzy, Fade, Aerie, and Jaheira. Having a "kill mages" button really made the game from frustrating to a cakewalk.

Well, I've only beaten BG2 once, and that was with a Blade, plus Imoen, Jaheira, Aerie, and Jan. I would switch out the last slot... Minsc for most of SoA, and Sarveok for ToB.

I'll probably have changed my mind before the week is over which party was the most fun 'ever' but this is one that stands out the most of my more recent playthroughs :

    PC Beserker 13/Cleric X

    Bg1:
    • Imoen, for story reasons and so i had a capable non-evil thief to start with.
    • Edwin, because i love me a sassy mage. I thought about taking Minsc but i didn't want to bother taking along Dynaheir. (In the end i ended up saving dynaheir with minsc first then kicking them out of the party to recruit edwin.)
    • Viconia, For story reasons (bg2 romance) and she's a pretty awesome cleric to boot.
    • Kagain, The best tank in the game by far. I also like the evil NPC's a lot if you hadn't noticed by now. :D
    • Shar-teel, just to round the party out. she has pretty bad con so i ended up giving her a bow of some sort and having her spend most of her time in the back line.
    For BG2 i picked up:
    • Jan Jansen, i think he's a funny character, having full thief progression is nice too.
    • Korgan, basically just to replace Kagain.
    • Edwin, who returns with double the sass in the second game.
    • Viconia, still an awesome cleric and aforementioned romance interest.
    • Haer'Dalis, pretty much just because he's decent without too much investment and can cover most tasks pretty well in a pinch. Gets replaced in ToB.
    • Sarevok, pretty awesome at killing things fast and one of my favorite NPC's by far.
