    They'll be combat-bound most of the time, so I usually go for healing spells for after-battle patch-ups. Though if it's Kivan or a self-made archer type, Entangle can sometimes be just the thing to safely kill those pesky meleers.

    By the time you get your first level priest spell with a ranger you already have a fairly high level druid or cleric so its not really that usefull. I tend to take entangle as it helps out more than the other level 1 spells. If your lacking in healing cure light wounds is okay but by the time you get it isn't going to help you that much.

    Every little bit of healing helps. What's wrong with spreading the spells out? :skeptic:

    In your eyes, you shouldn't take Entangle if you have druid in your party. :p
