Just wondering what you guy's favorite spell to LISTEN to is..... You know, when they are swirling the magic around with their hands and saying the words...

I like hearing the female voice when you cast True Sight. Not sure exactly what she says, sounds something to the effect of "Seeo, Vidichi, Hecto" or some such. I just always thought that sounded really cool. My favorite male voice one is probably when you cast Draw Upon Holy Might, and he says something like "Insactus Pulcher Inperium" or something like that. ;)

Also, I was kinda suprised after playing BG2 (I got it first) then going back to regular BG, the sounds they make when casting spells are quite different. Anywho...

Well, I hear what you're saying, but like, I think that they recycle a lot of the sounds, you know. Like all healing spells, they say the same thing, mostly, I thing. But I couldn't tell ya which sounds I really like. Latin's not my thing. :p

Actually when you face the Demon Knight in Durlags tower, (BG:ToSC Expansion), one of the spells he casts sounds awesome.

Don't have a clue how to describe what he is saying but it sounds like he is calling upon spells from the depths of hell. :flaming:

You may have to pause the game to hear the entire chant.

Anyways, I think it sounds pretty awesome :D

Hmmm I may actually have to play through all of BG1 and TotSC to hear that Mathyew. :) Its kinda hard for me to play it though, considering I started BG2 first. When I go back to BG1 and try and play that, I feel so weak. Level 1 with 10 hp, wtf? Heh.

Yea DarkGoddess I know they recycle a TON of them. If you break it down, there really isnt that many unique spell sounds. (Words?)

How many different incantations are there anyway? It seems to me like there are only around 5 or 6 different ones (excluding female versions of the voices, or males, depending how you look at it:))

Is there anyway to play them without casting?
