Fiery Saradush

[IMG] Tell me, I just got in Saradush(?) and I just killed the guys at the gate. Melissan leaves and it starts raining huge fireballs. Since I had just killed the guys and my party was hurt(main character the most), a fireball directly aims at my main character and kills her! Tell, does it rain fire all the time when you're in the town?

It does indeed rain fire the entire time you are in the city. There is a besieging army outside the walls after all.

I think that there are cirtain parts of the town that the fireballs are aimed at(in the middle of the circle part, on the battle ments to the right of the second floor of the castle, to the left of the tavern next to the barracks, to the left of the stairs). Usually it is where there is one of those rotting bodies. so i don't think that they are aimed at your main character, or maybe it was just me.

I think it's a bit of both. They ARE aimed at you, but only if you are in those certain spots.

If my whole party goes through one of those spaces, a peasant would shout "Incoming" while my main is in the bullseye area. Since my main has boots of speed, he would be gone by the time the fireball hits and my slow members would have gotten in the way.

So it seems the "incoming" essentially locks the spot of impact where your main is, or perhaps where a random party member is, if they are in the open square. Pause as soon as you get a warning and direct everyone as far out of the area as possible.

That's funny, I've never noticed anybody going "incoming" when I was going to get hit.
