Fighter Stronghold Problem

    [​IMG] After the first stronghold quest, the one about a merchant asking for repayment and a solution to the bandits in the lands, I got a notice.

    'Gold was added to your Keep' - This means that usually, another quest is going to present itself, right?

    But when I came, the Major Domo said there was no one to meet me.
    Is there something wrong, or the stronghold quest is froze?
    If i'm not wrong the second quest should be about to swindlers trying to skin you out of your money...

    So, what should I do?

    The people in your land pay you taxes, and the day this happens you get the message "Gold has been added into your keep". It's in a shelf in the room you fight the Snake-Mage in the second floor.

    Sometimes this happens just about the time when a problem occurs in your keep, but they're not connected.

    Another possibility - the PC has to be the one who talks to the Major, so if you had someone else do the talking (maybe the party leader if not the PC), the Major will say something like "I'm afraid I have nothing to say to you."

    Here's what happens - you get 500 gp from taxes on a weekly basis. Also, you get someone to see you in the keep about once a week. The thing is the one week timer between someone wishing to see you at the keep starts after you see that first person, whereas the gold placed in your keep occurs every seven days whether you go to pick it up or not.

    Maybe an example will help. Say you get the keep on day 10 of your adventure. On day 17, 500 gold will be placed in your keep, and the first person will show up to see you. If you don't get to the keep until day 19 to see the first guy, the second guy won't show up until day 26. But, you'll still get another 500 gold in your keep on day 24 - seven days after the last deposit.

    As an aside, I do not think the people trying to swindle you out of money is the second quest. I have done the fighter stonghold many times, and I think the people you are referring to are one of the last quests associated with your stronghold - more like the fourth or fifth people that come.

    The second quest is the person stealing the money for medicine. The swindlers are only 2 from the end.
