Do you guys think this build would work out? And what about a fighter/WM/CoT for a goodly character? I could use tips on level progression, skills, feats, etc. They will most likely be wielding a scythe.

btw, is it absolutely necessary for a spellcaster to be wearing armor for him to be useful (in the campaings I mean)?

    Thanks in advance

Not at all really... there are many good robes around. Of course, if you frequently find yourself in combat it helps, but if you have a tank henchman like Daelan it's not really necessary. It's more of a matter of personal preference... with the Craft skills in now I rather change the appearance of "robes" into real, long robes and play my sorcerer with one of those on.

Spell casters also have access to many spells that protect against damage (stoneskin, ghostly visage, premonition, etc.), and that deal damage when you get hit (elemental shield, etc.). Then there are always the greater belts that protect against slashing, piercing or blunt damage. Swap out those depending on your enemies' weapons, and wear a ring of elemental resistance, and much of the time it won't really matter if you get hit.

I think it could be a great character, (fighter/wm/Cot), personally I don't see the appeal of WM, I'd rather have levels in rogue, making my melee have a lower Base Attack, but a ton of useful skills.
