Just had my first encounter with Drizzt. I didn't like him and his parties, joking before me as if they are the best party. I still tried talking, but there's no good dialogue options, so we started fighting. I just scewed the romance with Viconia in the underdark so she left the party. The battle was five on five.
To my surprise, this becomes the toughest fighting ever! These guys don't use any magic AT ALL, but they are so tough! Korgan had -9 thac0, -15 AC and died in a blink. I'm a sorcerer, I had five skeleton warriors died and three horrid witting. At last only me and Imeon still alive, so we had stoneskin and fireshield up. I used a staff and she used a dagger to smack and stab Drizzt which finally killed him.(he killed himself)
When I finally loot their corps, they only use some crappy items! Compared to me having tons of magical items. And Drizzt is only level 15. This battle really shaked my confidence. After killing Kangaxx and dragons I thought I'm pretty good, but Drizzt is certainly very good, no wonder he can survive as a drow. How did you people fight him? I reloaded and fought again, this time paused every round and nobody died. But the first fihgt really surprised me.

I've never fought him but watched my friend to fight with him and he dispatched Drizzt's Co. easily.
Drizzt scimitars are hella cool, but the Harple defense-system-against-killing-Drizzt sucks!

If you make a search on "Drizzt" in this forum you should get a few hundred links to topics where he has been discussed before.

And I didn't know people in New Zealand used numbers instead of names. One learns something new every day... Just in case you want to change it to something normal, go to "my profile & pm" here on the boards, and to "View/Update Profile" where you can enter a new PDN.
