I reloaded a save from when I traveled from Spellhold back to Brynnlaw. This time I went straight to the tavern and spoke with the sailor (I forget his name) and then I went to the GF's house. There she was with her lover. The only difference is what time of the night it was. I have learned (this is the second time) that if you are to meet someone at night it has to be deep in the night, not almost dawn nor almost dusk. Either way, I entered the apartment, killed the guards and vamoosed out with the horn. Thanks to everyone that supplied me with hints and solutions. I was about two seconds from a breakdown.

Grrrr, you mean you eventually solved the problem after you had several of us trawling through infinity explorer trying to find the code for the horn and thinking about clua consoles to 'move to area' etc by using.......

The very first thing I suggested to you: "If she is not there yet, maybe you just have to wait a bit longer (nightime not evening)."

Oh well I'm glad you finally sorted it out. Hopefully for any future problems you'll avoid some of the confusion by sticking to one post to avoid answers crossing over each other and trying the ideas suggested in turn. Have fun with the rest of the game :)

Niles, don't post the same topic in so many different threads. One horn, one topic, OK?
