How many chances do i have of killing the dragon in Chult with a Finger of Death scroll used by a level 13 sorcerer, what do you think.

first of all, your spell must hit the guardian first. i suppose this part isn't that hard.

then, you make a throw, guardian makes a fortitude saving throw and this is the hard part. fortitude saving throw has connection with constitution, which the guardin doesn't lack off (i suppose).

it can be done because i disintegrated the guardian before. however you'll need to try a lot.

Hate finger of death anyway.Such instant kill spells make the game unballanced.Kill a DRAGON with one spell and much luck....

I dont think finger of death is unbalanced. Might as well consider the reload button unbalanced then

Actually I don't think reload makes the game easyer because you have to fight the same dificult enemy again at no better chances.But finger of death + reload....

Fighting solving quests and after all great adventures he die by one stinkin spell and cannot fight it?!?!?!

You probably could kill the guardian with finger of death. I think disintegrate might work better though...I don't know why, but in my case, enemies save a lot less often with disintegrate.
Finger of death will work, but as teekc said, you'll probably need a few tries.

NOTE-If you decide to use disintegrate, remember to get away from the guardian quickly, since he'll still be able to hurt you for a few rounds.
