Fire Elemental & A Druid

    ok I'm soloing as a druid/fighter and when I cast Conjure fire elemental it works for a while then he turns hostile on me. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!?! Usually when I conjure him I also casts the spells entangle or web or insect plague (the one that causes 100% spell failure) is this the reason that he hurts against me? Or is there some other explination?

    Usually it happens when the elemental has been charmed by the enemy spellcaster.

    Then the elemental is hit by a damaging spell, he will become hostile. Once i wanted to help the fire elemental with a fireball, I thought it wouldn't disturb him because he's immune to fire. But wrong, hostile...

    IIRC, any summoned creature will turn hostile on you if you cause it damage. Whether it be a direct attack, which would obviously piss them off, or they just happen to be standing too close to an area spell that goes off, they will turn on you. I don't think they side with your enemy per se. I think they move on to whomever once they've finished you off. Insect plague does do a small amount of physical damage to a group, not just the caster. This should be the reason. Just don't combine the two and you should be fine.

    Yeah, just before the planar prison I was helping Hear'Dalis and his friend kill those montsers that come out of the portal and I used the fireball instead of the Aganisers Scorcher with the wand of fire and everyone turned hostile on me.
