Is there any way to cheat and use the console or whatever to put the ancient armor in your inventory? Because I sorta messed up and didn't take the armor from the skeleton that said to take his armor, and now it's not there anymore.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would think it's possible what with all the hacks and mods for this game.

Download the GateKeeper utility. That allows you to modify your inventory.

    Dear player,
since you have mentioned console in your post, I suppose you know how to activate it (otherwise check the relevant section of SP for information).
In this case, you just have to type this to the console's field:
    CLUAConsole:CreateItem("MISC82")
The Ancient Armor will appear in your first character's (top portrait) inventory. Make sure that you write exactly what I've written here, it is case-sensitive.

When Imoen feels like stealing, she just says "I'll be right back" and sneaks away from my LG PC... I mean, it's very likely that different party members will go to different places in the city. That's what we do all the time in P&P... Although it doesn't make much sense in a dungeon :p

Potential minor spoilers about Firewine Dungon below - You've been warned!

Splitting up in a Dungon can make great sense, and Firewine is a good example - In my current game, Imoen was dual classes to Mage after reaching 3rd lev as a thief, with all her points dumped into Find Traps. She scouts with an Invisibility spell on her detecting traps. My Fighter/Thief, who has dumped most points into locks and stealth tags along hiding in shadows when needed. In Firewine, you mostly fight Kobolds, so a quick back-stab from the F/T does the trick. The rest of the party can follow at a safe distance, though in Firewine, I stash them up by the entry from the halflings basement.

Ahh, i dunno how hard Firewine is (I have followed the main line first game, imported my Ranger and now i am soloing all side-quests), but it is quite funny to raze trough them.

I wouldn't recommend it if you're only level five. Probably when you're closer to ten - possibly more so, it's been a while since I played Firewine, but I remember it being nasty. As it's not an 'essential' dungeon to complete, it's quite challenging.

I usually go in before Cloakwood. Fifth level is fine if you're careful (or reload a lot).

Are you talking 5th level solo, or party? Because I've never had a problem either way, unless I didn't have a thief to disarm traps. (Of course, I can remember everything about any dungeon off the top of my head, so that probably helps. )

If you actually want to clear out the dungeon, then it's probably ok. I wouldn't recommand it though, since it's boring and pointless, since there's only one stupid quest there and the monsters respawn anyway... It's far better to *spoiler* enter through the traitor halfling's house. It's the only house in gullykin that can be entered from the north, and it's located on the west of the village. Go down the stairs, kill the inhospitable halfling and enter through the secret door. you can get straight to the dungeon's master ( :D ) that way and you don't have to bother with stupid kobolds...

I find it helpful to send an invisible (either by potion, spell or Sandthief's ring) thief scout ahead to clear out traps. Then I send in the rest to dispose of those irksome kobolds. I mean kobolds, come on! Didn't we kill enough of them already? :p

There's the vampiric sword. Although I forget how you get your hands on that.

You take the armor from the firewine dungeon, and the idol from the archeological excavation, then you talk with the ghost of ulcaster, then you get the sword.

No you loose the armor and the idol and gain a useless sword. ;) IIRC, you take the damage from the hits not your opponent.
